Editing eyes image

Our group had taken a picture of our teacher and are now editing it to place on our film poster. we decided to use an image that we had taken ourselves rather than an image off the internet as we want to be able to edit it and change things in order to achieve a higher grade. We are planning on changing the brightness and contrast of his eyes to make them stand out from the blurred and dark background of our film poster. This will be able to make us get the genre of horror across to our targeted audience as they would be able to see a clear link between why we  have chosen darker colours and how it all links together. Once we have edited the photo we are going to blend it into the background of the poster. We wanted to enhance the colour of the eyes and make this a unique selling point for the film poster.

After having this idea we wanted to make sure that the majority of people agreed with us so we took a vote on which people were attracted to this feature; if it was placed in a DVD shop would they pick it out. We took a quick tally of 34 people aged from 16-28, through young teenagers to young adults where the horror genre appeals to the most. Out of 34 people 29 said they liked this feature and found it eye catching.
